MAC Cosmetics partners with local artists to nurture young talent


MAC Kenya has launched a series of masterclasses to nurture Kenyan talent.

MAC Cosmetics is proud to support emerging and established artists to advance their craft. With this in mind, the cosmetics company has decided to support local art by providing local makeup artists with platforms where they can develop their talents to share their skills and ideas.

MAC is whereproviding a space in which young Kenyans can develop their talents by providing them with opportunities to teach and learn about professional makeup applications to enhance their skills. Recently, MAC partnered with Kenyan makeup artist Stephanie Cherono to host a Masterclass aimed at educating other upcoming makeup artists. The Glow & Grow Masterclass, as it has been dubbed, is the very first in the series. Cherono began her professional makeup journey in 2017 as a retail artist at MAC.
