J Balvin brings the heat to the MTV VMAs. On Sunday night, the Colombian singer and rapper hit the red carpet sporting a new tiger-print hairstyle. The bright orange hair color featured tiger stripes on the back of the head and an ombre color scheme with lighter orange undertones towards the bottom. Balvin paired his signature hair color with a sleek white suit and black Prada sunglasses, ensuring all eyes were on his bold new hair. During his pre-show interview, Balvin said the new hair color took about three hours.
This isn’t the first time Balvin has brought a brand new hairstyle to an awards show. In April, he debuted blue hair with a huge red heart at the 2022 Grammys. He constantly expresses himself through his fashion and beauty choices, and it’s one of the many reasons we ‘love. We’ve seen him with lime green hair, many variations of blue hair, and most recently, blonde hair.
Balvin has a big night ahead of him at the Video Music Awards in New Jersey. Not only is he performing at the show for the first time since 2019, he’s also been nominated for Best Latin Video.
