Cardi B debuted a new hair color as she attended a court hearing on Sept. 15 that managed to capture all of the fall’s best feelings. The auburn hue was styled in loose, voluminous curls that fell just at her shoulders – a perfect length for transitioning into the cooler months.
The rapper appeared in Queens Supreme Court, where she pleaded guilty to two misdemeanors for a fight that took place at Angel’s Strip Club in New York in 2018. She was eventually sentenced to 15 days of community service ; the two victims were also granted full protection orders against the star for three years.
For the trend-obsessed, Cardi B’s new look easily sums up the “clay red” hair color trend that should be everywhere this fall. “It looks more and more natural as it fades,” colorist Jeremy Tardo previously told POPSUGAR. “This look is for you if you have dark or light hair that you want to change up and lighten up.”
Tardo described the color as “copper with depth,” so don’t be afraid to play around with different shades if you want to try this look. Dark skin tones can opt for deeper auburn and copper hues, as Cardi B did, to participate in this trend, and fair skin tones can try more strawberry hues. Take a closer look at Cardi B’s hair below.
