Opened in 2016 and based in Coseley, Dollface Cosmetics offers a wide range of beauty, cosmetic and personal care procedures, including lip fillers, non-surgical rhinoplasty and microblading.

Owner Riah Read was completely shocked after the salon came in first place for lip enhancement and non-surgical rhinoplasty at the 2022 International Aesthetics Awards.

But the success didn’t stop there, with the salon winning the award for Best Practitioner in England, followed by Best Practitioner in the World.

Riah, 28, from Sandwell, said: “To be honest I was completely shocked, when I first watched the results I didn’t think I had won until I had looked correctly.

“Then I had won again, and again, and again.

“I worked very hard at this job, so it was great to be recognized.

“I think there are a lot of companies popping up now, but we’ve been going there since 2016.

“We see customers from all over the world, and they are very important to us, we really care.

“We take care of our customers and even offer a 24-hour helpline for assistance.”

The salon doesn’t just offer procedures either, with Riah also holding CPD-accredited aesthetic courses.

She added: “I teach ordinary people who want to change careers and people already in the industry.

“It’s not a job for us, it’s a passion, every person who walks through the door is different, so the needs are different.”
