Albert Chettiar, makeup artist for Mouni Roy, talks about his Junoon look in Brahmastra

Mumbai (Maharashtra): Albert Chettiar, Mouni Roy’s makeup artist, who has worked with her for 12 years, had to work hard to get her perfect Brahmastra look. The talented makeup artist revealed that it would take her nearly 3 hours to get the entire look perfect.

Speaking about his look, he reveals, “It’s not an easy look to create. It took us 3 hours to do the whole look. There are the tattoos, then there is a particular hairstyle for this look. It was a very specific look and it wasn’t easy to do. I did the makeup and hair by B-Blunt. If you watched the movie, you must have noticed that when she was normal, her eyes were brown. But when she was fierce, her eyes turned red. It was difficult, but it was also something new for me. So I liked working on this film. This is my first time working with Ayan Mukerji. He is extremely talented, hardworking and soft-spoken. He is friendly and I enjoyed working with him. I would love to work with him again in the future.”

Speaking about the response to the film, Albert adds, “It wasn’t a usual look that you would normally see in films. It was very unusual and different from the other looks, so it was a bit difficult to work on it. People are completely impressed with his work as well as his look in the movie. I get a lot of responses on social media and my number of followers increased significantly after the movie was released. So I’m really happy with the response.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, it also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Nagarjuna Akkineni.
